LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH A “MINIATURE ZOO” TOUR AT CITY CLASS π¦ππ
In the preschool education journey at SRIGHT, every lesson is an opportunity for children to expand their worldview and sharpen their thinking. This week’s language development session transformed the City Class space into a bustling “Open Zoo,” where young SRIGHTers immersed themselves in a vivid animal world.
Preschool Education: Learning Vocabulary Through Real-Life Experiences
Instead of dry flashcards, children learned to see, name, and describe the actions of each animal through vibrant visual aids. The teacher’s open-ended questions served as the “key” to stimulating the childrenβs thinking and linguistic reflexes:
- What does a loyal dog like to eat?
- How does a cow graze on grass?
- How does a duck waddle to find its prey?
- How do beautiful fish swim underwater?
Directly interacting and simulating the action of “feeding the animals” helps children retain vocabulary more deeply. This is an optimal method in language development, helping children not only understand the meaning of words but also know how to use them in specific communicative contexts.
Nurturing Confident Communication Skills from an Early Age
Every innocent answer and curious gaze from our City Class students represents a solid step forward in their expressive abilities.
